  • Caen Contee is a serial entrepreneur and startup scaling expert dedicated to using technology and private, high-growth business to accelerate innovation towards a more equitable, prosperous and sustainable future. Driven to be a force multiplier in the world of purpose-driven enterprise, Caen has founded, scaled and invested in globally recognized venture-backed companies in the mobility, electrification, healthcare, location, education, financial inclusion and sustainable manufacturing sectors across the US and Europe.

    Caen has a breadth of experience in tech startups, including co-leading global expansion, marketing, communications, business development, government relations, sales, and corporate strategy for known Silicon Valley unicorns. Caen has helped raise over $850 million in venture funding, grown products to over 50 million users, negotiated transactions over $200 million, and advised companies generating $100s millions in revenue. Previously a founding team member and executive at unicorns Lime and Charge, as well as Senior Advisor of SVB Capital (the financial institution’s VC arm still in operation), Caen's dedication to process, cooperation and service-based leadership has made him a respected colleague, mentor, and champion.

    In addition to his professional accomplishments, Caen's academic background is diverse and deep. Caen received scholarships to Dartmouth College and Beijing University to study business, engineering, political science, and language (solidifying his Spanish, and adding Arabic, French and Mandarin to the Portuguese and English he has spoken since childhood). A Choate, NSEP and Freeman-Asia scholar and top-ranked student in high school and university, Caen is a strong proponent of the immersion method, and never hesitates to dive in with curiosity and humility. He thrives in the sensation of a new challenge – where success is just beyond grasp, but not reach. He knows that the most impactful work comes from the state of ikigai where love, skill, need, and prosperity unite.

    When he's not building companies, Caen immerses himself in global cultures, primarily by exploring and learning from language, food and martial arts. Always working to maximize his own potential as well as that of those around him, he recognizes we are all students and stewards of the future we author.

  • Margret Kayonde is an administrative professional with over a decade of experience supporting executives and industry leaders. With an MBA and competencies in finance, governance, operations, and strategy, she is passionate about galvanizing company processes and helping businesses align operations with goals.

    With extensive experience in high-level collaboration, she has built a reputation as a solution-focused, influential thought partner with the ability to build consensus, create alignment, and drive results.

    She is passionate about ensuring harmony and excellence in how things work by building systems, policies, and procedures.

    Outside of work, Maggie is passionate about charity work, women’s rights, and nature.
